Hello there. I have been in participating in online dating sites for a while. I am primarily looking in Philipines for a mate. I have seen a number of picture problems. Well, at least these pose problems for me when looking at a profile. A big problem is posting a blurry image. How will someone know who they are looking at if the image is a total blur. To avoid this and other problem related photos mishaps, get help from a friend. Now of course if you are limited to the built in web cam on an internet cafe computer, your options are limited. Even then, not all of the photos have to be the web cam looking down on you. There is such a thing as standing up.
Now I am a chubby guy myself, but I still believe it is advantageous to have pics of yourself standing as well as sitting. You may have to take a few bad pics when using a web cam in order to get a few good ones. Try head shot, standing front and standing side view, To the ladies: we guys like sexy pics. You don't have to take your clothes off to be sexy. A simple shirt stap off the shoulder or unbuttoning another button on your blouse goe a long way. Of course it is sad we tend to look at appearances, but you women do it too. Halter tops are sexy and mostly show arms. Flesh is flesh and it might get you the attention you desire.
Try to avoid a photo series with you and a friend or two or more friends. You may no which pic is of you but people viewing your profile may well have no clue. Try not to use more than one cutsy or collage pic. Sure you are artistic, but if peoiple pass your profile by because you have a poster pic, a flower pic or what-have-you, then whats the point?
Don't tke photos that are long shots. They are usually not clear and are not necessarily flattering. I see a series of pics of the same woman in different poses and then the swimsuit photo. lo and behold the suit looks OK, but the woman in it appears to be a half KM away. So why show off something no one can see from a distance. Although most sites have photo rules, I have seen a lot of women in two piece lingerie which don't look that much different than a swim suit. I believe most people wouldn't frown on these type of pics.
Remember you are promoting yourself, so look at your pics before and after posting them. What you see on your profile page is what others see.
